During Autumn Term 1, to link with the theme of 'Identity and Diversity' and their core text, 'Empire's End', children in Year 4 studied where in the world Rome is and used geographic locational knowledge to find key Roman centres, such as Britain. The children were able to locate places using their knowledge of Europe and where that is in terms of the Northern Hemisphere, as well as find key cities on a map. Some of their work can be seen here on their 'Roman Museum Exhibition' which was the final outcome of their work for the half term and showcased their work in History as well as their Geography pieces here.
